ANDALUSIA DAY

Andalusia Day is a holiday celebrated only in the region of Andalusia to commemorate the referendum for Andalusia to become an autonomous community within Spain, which was held in 1980. This day is celebrated every year on February 28th, but at our school we are going to celebrate it on the 26th. Some of the activities pupils do during this day are: coloring pictures of the symbols and insignia of Andalusia, reviewing our history and customs, regional dancing and singing the regional anthem.
