TALLER DE COCINA (TORRIJAS)
A través de su cuenta en Facebook, la AMPA nos da buenas noticias de cara a mañana, último día antes de las vacaciones de Semana Santa. ¡Será un día especialmente sabroso! Por obra y arte del alumnado de cocina del I.E.S. "Juan de Aréjula", a quien desde aquí damos las gracias por su disponibilidad.

Se acerca nuestra Semana Santa, pero no en todo el mundo se celebra igual. Aquí podemos ver los principales aspectos de cómo se desarrolla en diferentes países. Para acceder a las páginas basta con pulsar en las imágenes inferiores.

Christians mark Good Friday around the world. At the Vatican the new Pontiff Pope Francis threw himself on the floor of St. Peter's Basically in prayer. In Southern Germany thousands watch the re-enactment of Jesus' walk to his death. Later they stand witness as Christ is nailed to a cross. Good Friday signifies the official beginning of Easter, which symbolizes the central Christian belief that death does not signify the end but a new beginning. In New York thousands of worshipers observe Good Friday with a procession over the Brooklyn Bridge. In Jerusalem, members of the clergy carry a statue of Jesus Christ. They hold a service at the place where they believe Christ was buried. In Mexico crowds of Roman Catholics gather to watch the annual Processions of the Flagellants and the Crucified. The faithful show their piety by hitting themselves -- its a way to share the pain that Jesus suffered on the cross.

HOLY WEEK IN SPAIN
Con la llegada del Domingo de Ramos se inicia en nuestro país (y en otros países del mundo, principalmente de habla hispana) la Semana Santa. De domingo a domingo, nos encontramos con 8 días llenos de de todo tipo de emociones y sensaciones que impregnan todos los sentidos de nuestro ser. Es la fiesta del pueblo por antonomasia, con tradiciones seculares que se mezclan con una peculiar forma de demostrar la religiosidad popular.
